Book interpreters from your AI assistant
Add the EasyTerp MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any MCP client, then just ask it to find and book a sign language interpreter.
Quick setup
It's one server, not a separate integration per app. Add it once to your assistant and it works everywhere that supports MCP.
https://api.easyterp.com/mcp- 1Open your assistant's connectors or MCP settings.
- 2Add a custom / remote server and paste the server URL.
- 3When prompted, sign in with a one-time email code, then ask it to book an interpreter.
Prefer not to use an assistant?You can book via our platform or email us at hello@easyterp.com, and we'll arrange it.
Demo
Here's what booking by conversation looks like. Ask in plain language, and your AI assistant does the rest.
Usage
Once connected, here's what you can do with it:
- 1Sign in with a one-time email codeYour assistant prompts you to connect. You sign in in your browser with a one-time email code (no password); after that, the tools act as your signed-in account.
- 2Search availability
searchAsk for a professional by service, location, date and time. You get back indicative price tiers. - 3Request a booking
make_bookingPick a tier to request the booking. We confirm the details and the price with you. - 4Get a booking link and pay securelyYou receive a booking link and complete payment yourself on a secure link, never through the assistant.
Connect your assistant
Here's where to add the server in each client.
In ChatGPT, custom MCP servers are added as "apps" (also shown as "Apps & Connectors"), built on OpenAI's Apps SDK.
- 1Open Settings and turn on Developer Mode.
- 2Go to Apps & Connectors and choose to add a custom connector.
- 3Paste the EasyTerp MCP server URL and complete the sign-in prompt.
- 4ChatGPT asks you to confirm before any booking action is taken.
For developers
Using a command-line or IDE coding assistant? Add the server directly:
claude mcp add --transport http easyterp https://api.easyterp.com/mcpOr add it manually to .mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"easyterp": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.easyterp.com/mcp"
}
}
}Run the command in your project, or add the config to .mcp.json. Authenticate when prompted.
code --add-mcp "{\"name\":\"easyterp\",\"type\":\"http\",\"url\":\"https://api.easyterp.com/mcp\"}"Or add it manually to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"easyterp": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.easyterp.com/mcp"
}
}
}Run the command, add the config to .vscode/mcp.json, or use the Command Palette: “MCP: Add Server”.
Available tools
These are the tools your assistant can call once connected. Signing in is a one-time email-code step in the connector, not a tool; after that, these act as your signed-in account.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_started | How to drive the tools: the booking flow and the key facts, as plain guidance. |
get_auth_session | Report whether you're signed in and when the current access token expires (never the token). |
get_booking_requirements | The fields, valid service types, and booking rules to collect before searching. |
search | Search availability for a professional by service, location, date and time; returns indicative tiers. |
make_booking | Request a booking for a chosen tier; we confirm the details and price with you. |
Authentication
- When you connect, your assistant opens the EasyTerp sign-in page in your browser (easyterp.com/connect). You enter a one-time email code there, on our site, not in the chat.
- Your assistant never sees your email code or your login token. It only receives permission to act as your signed-in account.
- You stay connected until the session expires or you disconnect. Removing the connector in your assistant, or revoking access, ends it.
OAuth 2.1 (for advanced clients)
The EasyTerp MCP server is a standard OAuth 2.1 server (PKCE, Dynamic Client Registration). Most clients discover these endpoints automatically from the metadata URL, so you don't normally enter them by hand.
https://api.easyterp.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-serverThe one URL a client needs. Everything below is discovered from here automatically.https://api.easyterp.com/oauth/authorizeStarts the login; redirects your browser to the EasyTerp sign-in page.https://api.easyterp.com/oauth/tokenExchanges the authorization code for an access token (PKCE; also refresh).https://api.easyterp.com/oauth/registerDynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so a client can self-register.https://api.easyterp.com/oauth/revokeRevokes a token (RFC 7009) so you can disconnect cleanly.The sign-in page itself (easyterp.com/connect) is where you enter your one-time email code. It is reached automatically from the authorization step; it is not an endpoint a client calls directly.
Security
- Identity is always your own signed-in account. Every search and booking is scoped to you; no tool can act as anyone else.
- No tool can take payment. Payment stays on a human-authorised secure link that you complete yourself, never through the assistant.
- Sign-in uses a one-time email code, not a password, and the assistant never sees your login token.
- A human reviews every quote before anything is confirmed.
Troubleshooting
Stuck connecting, or your assistant isn't finding the server? Check that you pasted the exact server URL and that your client supports remote (HTTP) MCP servers. If you're still stuck, we're happy to help.
Email us and we'll help you get connected, or arrange the booking for you.
